Scholarships and other costs can include the cost of lessons, travel to tournaments, lodging, meals, equipment, and entry fees. The Foundation each year takes a group of the foundation children to Washington DC, Pennslyvania, and New York to see universities and meet with senators and other dignataries. This is an attempt to further educate the children as to the benefits of higher education which requires discipline. Tennis, as an individual sport, requires much mental and physical discipline. 58060 Costs to run tournaments are additional expenses paid by the Founation.
