In previous years, pitch finalists received free coaching and the opportunity to present to investors and the public. Judges gave feedback and selected the most fundable and highest social impact business model. The Bay Area Entrepreneurship Alliance makes business support resources more accessible to local, diverse entrepreneurs, tracks entrepreneur progress over time, and coordinates the rich ecosystem of business service providers, networks, funders, and governmental actors engaged in the Bay Area entrepreneurship ecosystem.
