For many parents, this is further complicated by the high cost of pediatric hearing aids. We believe that no child should be denied hearing aids based on an inability to pay. For families living in Georgia, we aim to serve as a hope and a resource.Our Pediatric Hearing Program offers high quality, affordable access to Georgia families who are uninsured, underinsured and fall between the gaps in Medicaid, PeachCare and the federal limit for families receiving subsidies or tax credits. In additional to hearing aids, children who qualify also receive nine provider appointments and six years in repair, loss and damage warranties. 260114 In 2016, the Lighthouses Vision Surgery Program provided 737 surgical procedures for uninsured Georgians. Our Vision Surgery Program facilitates corneal transplants, cataract and retinal surgeries, and surgeries to prepare eye sockets for prosthetic eyes.
