Since its inception, AGA has provided housing services including first-time homebuyer education classes, credit repair programs, and currently manages a downpayment assistance program. AGA, having constructed the San Jacinto Senior Housing Community in 1996, maintains and manages a TDHCA funded 50-unit elderly residence complex in the Avenida Guadalupe project area. Additionally, in 2002 and then in 2005, AGA sponsored two HUD 202 PRAC Senior Housing Communities Ernest Olivares Senior Apartments and the Charles Gonzales Senior Homes, both currently managed by Avenidas housing department, AVEGU. 53006 The AGA offers culturally significant events that educate and provide the community with opportunities to experience traditional Mexican holidays such as Cinco de Mayo, Diez y Seis de Septiembre, and Una Noche en La Gloria Hispanic Heritage Month.
