Potential grantees then sign a memorandum of understanding stating their understanding of our intended use of the granted funds, reporting requirements, and any restrictions placed on the funds. The grantee returns a report substantiating the use of the funds granted once the funds are expended. The grantee also submits quarterly updates on their organizations activities and annual financial reports if applicable. The reviewed Form 990 is then reviewed by the organization's board of directors prior to filing. The Chairman of the board is charged with monitoring the conflict of interest policy, and with determining whether potential conflicts of interest exist.
