SSSCU's marketing department is responsible for receiving all the applications and putting the packets together that removes all student names and other identifying information. The selection committee does not know the personal information of the students until after the selections are made. The selection is made based on the student's grades, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and their application. The scholarships have GPA requirements that need to be maintained in order to continue receiving the scholarship. Student GPA's are reviewed every semester prior to granting the funds. Teacher of the Game - We partner with the sponsors of the award. The selections are made by a committee selected from the sponsors. A representative from each sponsor gets to vote and select the winners. SSSCU is the sponsor for the check award that is provided to each winning teacher.
