It catalyzes social ventures led by underrepresented entrepreneurs, particularly people of color and women. We believe that genius is equally distributed, but access for social entrepreneurs is not. We lead a social venture fellowship (Camelback Fellows) that provides coaching, connections and capital to level the playing field. Since 2013, we have supported 36 social entrepreneurs. Among the first two cohorts, 95% identified as people of color at 60% as women. They are pioneers as first generation: college grads, immigrants and entrepreneurs. Collectively, our fellows have gone on to win prestigious recognition from: Aspen Institute, Draper Richards Kaplan, Echoing Green, Teach for America and Yale.
