GTS manages and coordinates the production for the annual summit with cooperation from the MN e-health planning committee. Part X, Line 2: During the years ended December 31, 2016 and 2015, the Organization has not incurred any interest or penalties on its tax return. The Organization's tax returns are subject to possible examination by the taxing authorities. For federal tax purposes the tax returns essentially remain open for possible examination for a period of three years after the date on which those returns are filed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b Staff and the Finance Committee do a thorough review of the 990. A final draft is then sent electronically to the Board of Directors before it is filed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c Board members are required to disclose conflicts of interest annually and any conflicts are reviewed by the executive committee. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15a The board handles the performance and compensation reveiw for the executive director. Compensation decisions are made within salary ranges which have been benchmarked to similar responsibilities in other public/nonprofit Organizations.
