These services are offered in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura Counties. All of our foster care services utilize a trauma-informed approach and are available in multiple langauges. Our program also offers unique expertise in working with older youth and with LGBTQ children and families. In addition, we offer Intensive Treatment Foster Care (ITFC), which places high risk and special needs children in foster care homes with highly trained, trauma-oriented foster parents and therapists. We served 636 foster youth in FY15/16. 4018902 Mental Health Serivces - Our Mental Health Program is designed for children, youth, and teens who have been exposed to traumatic events, such as neglect; family violence; community violence; and/or, physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. Our bilingual, multicultural clinical staff is extensively trained to provide a range of coordinated mental health interventions. Available services include: case management; individual, family and group therapy; school-based services; in-home counseling; therapeutic behavioral services; psychiatric assessments; and, medication support. A total of 731 children were served in FY15/16. 1218835 Wraparound Program - Wraparound is a family-centered, strengths-based, needs-driven program. By connecting families to services, supports, and opportunities, we build families' protective factors and functional life skills to help them achieve long-term safety and permanency. A total of 125 families were served in FY15/16. 309594 Domestic Violence Program - The Village provides both individual and group counseling to hundreds of clients impacted by domestic violence each year. Our programs focus on family dynamics; power and control; communication and problem solving skills; anger management techniques; and, substance abuse related issues. Our bilingual classes are: court approved; provide court updates; based on a sliding fee scale; and, are LGBTQ affirming. In FY15/16, 465 individuals attended classes. 127300 Street Outreach Program - The Village's Street Outreach Program provides outreach and engagement to homeless, high-risk youth. The Street Outreach Program focuses on developing relationships between outreach workers and young people in the San Fernando Valley that will allow them to re-build connections with caring adults. The program also provides youth with food, clothing, and other supplies to meet their basic needs. We reached out to 511 homeless youth in FY15/16. 195568 Housing Program for At-Risk and Homeless Youth - The Village offers a continuum of housing services to support youth. We provide crisis housing and transtitional housing with locations in Van Nuys and North Hollywood, CA. We also offer a Rapid Re-Housing program to support youth in securing and maintaining permanent housing. Supportive services are offered in each of these programs to assist youth in developing the skills and resources necessary to maintain permanent housing. 298968 Drop-In Center for At-Risk and Homeless Youth - The Village's Drop-In Center is a safe and affirming environment where homeless youth can access resources and supports to address their basic needs and supportive services to help them secure and maintain permanent housing. The Drop-In Center offers: showers, laundry, meals/snacks, clothes, counseling, health/wellness activities, and employment assistance. Services were provided to 731 youth in FY15/16. 75493 Adoptions Program - The Village's Adoptions Program places eligible children in homes with resource parents who have been extensively trained and certified. Our staff guides parents through the often complex adoption process, and offers follow-up supportive services to ensure the permanency of the placement.
