In an effort to grow our vetted nonprofits and as a convenience to our members, allocation of up to 50% of any donation of $5,000 or more is welcomed.Any nonprofit receiving designations must be a 501(c)(3) organization and must comply with the United States Patriot Act by submitting the proper documentation to Admirals Cove Foundation.If a person wishes to make a designation to a specific organization, the following is required: o The local or national organization must benefit the residents in the Palm Beach County area. o Confirm the organization is a legally recognized 501(c)(3), nonprofit by visiting Guidestar, or contacting the agency. o Submit designation organization's name and amount at the time of the pledge. o Provide complete organization information, including the name, street address, city and state to ensure that your designated gift goes to the right recipient (many have similar names). o Include how the person would like to be acknowledged.Nonprofit Payments and Acknowledgement - Designations made to our partner nonprofits are sent in addition to any direct program funding provided by Admirals Cove Foundation.Gifts paid by cash, check or credit card are distributed to designated nonprofit organizations in the next scheduled designation payout. Credit card donations are less the 3% transaction fee charged by the foundations credit card processor. Donor names, addresses and gift amount are forwarded to the designated organization.
