By donating through a fund at CADF, charitable gifts qualify for gift aid in the UK, as well as standard tax deductibility in the US. This service also extends to those who pay taxes in the Netherlands. This is a uniquely valuable tool for the hundreds of thousands of donors who find themselves with taxable earnings in multiple locations, and streamlines the process of tracking charitable giving. CADF staff also offers guidance on how and where to give. CADF made grants this fiscal year to nearly 575 charitable organizations totaling $44.1M. SRTL and CAF Canada directors and consultants are required to sign a disclosure form at the beginning of their term of office or consultancy. This includes reviewing compensation surveys for public charities and foundations, comparing CEO compensation in similar sized organizations, in addition to conducting a performance review.
