are awarded, Movement Strategy Center issues a grant agreement letter to establish amount, purpose, and legal restrictions of any awards given. In many cases, an MOU will accompany the award letter to detail any programmatic stipulations. Grantees submit narrative and financial reports showing how funds were used upon completion of the grant period. Form 990, Part VI, Line 11b: Form 990 Review Process The 990 is reviewed in person with the Board Treasurer. A copy of the draft return is circulated to all other members of the Board by email. Form 990, Part VI, Line 12c: Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts Movement Strategy Center (MSC) has a multi-level and multi-person review of any potential business relationship or potential employment. MSC actively reviews and/or investigates the potential business relationship/employment to see if that prospect has any relation to a current staff, or Board member. Form 990, Part VI, Line 15a: Compensation Review & Approval Process - CEO, Top Management Board members form an ad-hoc personnel committee which reviews independent salary surveys to evaluate MSC's compensation and benefits, ED is removed from discussion and decisions regarding his compensation.
