Three cohorts of girls participated in a group employment program that includes individual goal setting and performance evaluation sessions. The first cohort is Develop Your Voice and Speak (DYVAS), where young women are employed to produce an alternate form of media to educate the community about social justice issues. The second cohort is ActiveVistas, where young women are employed to develop and present workshops at the Girlvolution Conference. The third cohort focused on developing job readiness skills through activities such as a career panel and mock interviews. The Finance Committee reviews Form 990 and all related forms. The Executive Director presents Form 990 to the Board of Directors for approval.
