Further, the Organization has an election in effect under IRC Section 501(h), which was not reflected in the originally filed return. Accordingly, the return is amended to show that the Organization has a Section 501(h) election in effect by checking "Yes" on Form 990, Part IV, Line 4, and by completing Schedule C, Part II. Lastly, the return is amended to report business transactions with entities owned by current Directors which were not reported on the originally filed return. The Finance Committee is then provided a copy, for their review, and the Board members are sent a copy of the tax return, prior to filing, for their review as well. The return is then finalized and electronically filed with the taxing authorities.
