Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 1 The Executive Committee shall be presided over by the Chair-person of the Board and shall be comprised of the Chair-person of standing committees with up to 3 ad-hoc seats filled by other Directors. The Executive Committee reserves the right to appoint Board Members to serve on a specific standing committee according to committee need and in light of the unique skill set of each board member. The Executive Committee shall be responsible for the following: 1) Establish the dates of the CCDA board meetings 2) Review the board meeting agenda 3) Meet regularly between meetings of the board for updates and reviews 4) Make time-sensitive decisions when necessary or in emergency situations at the direction of the full Board of Directors 5) Consider sensitive issues that impact the organization (ie, personnel issues, personal matters pertaining to staff or board members, etc.) Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The Form 990 is prepared and reviewed in detail by an independent CPA firm. The form is then reviewed by management and presented to the Finance Committee before filing.
