These grants are determined by the grant committee. Part IV, Section E, Line 2a: Identify Supported Orgs. and Explain How Activities Furthered Exempt Pu To satisfy the responsiveness test the Junior League of San Jose appoints at least one director to the Farrington Historical Foundation. At least one member of the governing body of the Junior League also servers as a director of Farrington Historical Foundation. The directors of the Farrington Historical Foundation and Junior League of San Jose maintain a close working relationship and because of this relationship the Junior League has a significant voice on how Farrington Historical Foundation manages its property, which is used as a facility for Junior League. The primary purpose of Farrington Historical Foundation and its assets is to support Junior League of San Jose by maintaining its real property to provide a meeting place and headquarters for Junior League of San Jose, in additional to financial support. The Junior League of San Jose conducts its general operation and board meetings at the Farrington property . Without the support of Farrington Historical Foundation property, Junior League would not have the facility to conduct its day to day operations.
