The Organization will record a liability for uncertain tax positions when it is more likely than not that a tax position would not be sustained if examined by the taxing authority. The Organization continually evaluates expiring statutes of limitations, audits, proposed settlements, changes in tax law and new authoritative rulings. The Organization's income tax filings are subject to audit by various taxing authorities. The Organization's open audit periods are 2010-2013. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The Board of Directors approve the filing of Form 990 at the monthly Board of Directors' meeting Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c If a board member has a conflict of interest, they are expected to inform the board of directors.Multiple bids are required before choosing a vendor for large purchases or upgrades to the facility. The board meets and discusses large purchases and when needed meets face to face with a vendor before approving a bid. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 The Board of Directors go into executive session, discuss the performance of the executive director, they review directives and accomplishments of the Executive Director. The board reviews compensation of local and similar size facilities. They combine the results and determine the compensation from the material gatehered and discussed.
