We provided over 20 scholarships - primary, secondary, and university level to vulnerable citizens of Uganda and Rwanda. We have also started two schools in rural Uganda. A well-educated work-force allows workers to bargain for better wages and working conditions. Well-educated people are also more likely to help create jobs through entrepreneurship, innovation, and invention. We want to see the lives and vocations of the poor restored. In 2017 we invested in pottery collectives, soap cooperatives, chicken farms, and a bakery. 52353 50267 Immersion Trips In 2017 we built a Guest House in Uganda. We also helped provide Immersion Trip experiences for 21 people. Our trips are geared towards mutual change by placing relationships at the center of what we do. Relationships change who we are and the way we see the world. Our goal is for participants to go home changed. We also challenge members to think about how the relationships they have made will change the way they live in all areas of their life.
