Services are performed in schools, homes, offices or in the community. We served about 3,600 individuals this year.School and community based services helped about 11,700 at-risk children and their families with a continuum of prevention and intervention services required to foster their success in school and build family engagement. These services promote partnerships in the community among schools, community resources, and families by working more intentionally to link school resources, school outcomes, and school expectations with its partners' coordinated services.In addition to the service reimbursements, these programs are supported by grants and contributions of approximately $990,287 3228634 2985699 Child Welfare:We provide Traditional and Treatment Foster Care for temporary or emergency substitute family care for emotionally, sexually or physically abused children. We develop Foster Parents as mentors and pair them with families/dedicated adults with the goal of reunifying children with their families, or in their own community, and decreasing the length of stay in Foster Care. These services are provided for 154 children in foster care. We provided 9 foster care children the gift of stable adoptive homes through our foster to adopt services. Intensive Family Restoration Services helps to assist parents in working towards reunification with their children. We work with the parent(s) primarily to bring the children back to their home. This service was provided to over 260 parents and children.Every Child Succeeds is a voluntary home-visitation program for first-time, at risk mothers that helps build parents capabilities to provide an optimal start for their children and ensure kindergarten readiness. This program offers parenting advice, information on child development, personal and family health, environmental safety, life course development and access to health and human services. We served about 450 families in this program. In addition to the service reimbursements, these programs are supported by grants and contributions of approximately $242,935. 183978 6590 BUILDING STRONG MARRIAGES AND RELATIONSHIPS:Fathers Are A Factor is a network and set of classes for dads who want to build a strong foundation for their kids future success. We served about 175 fathers in this new program. Case Management is a new service being offered to provide our families assistance in meeting their basic needs, so that programs that provide other services can focus on addressing those specific needs as intended. In addition to the service reimbursements, these programs are supported by grants and contributions of $177,388. 1826963 992274 PARENTING SOLUTIONS: BAPC provides a unique brand of Intentional, strength-based parenting education workshops, parent coaching, classes and support groups, in schools and the community. We seek to serve parents who are searching for education and guidance from qualified parenting experts. Parents attending have the opportunity to connect with other parents, celebrate the importance of parenting and to increase their parenting knowledge. Over 850 parents and other professionals participated in these programs.Family Peer Support provides parents access to peer supports that assist them in the acquisition of services and the enhancement of their own capabilities and skills to meet the needs of their children. The program elicits the expertise of parents and caregivers who have faced similar obstacles with their children and systems issues. Over 1,000 parents participated in either mentoring sessions and/or school wide events. Therapeutic Mentors teach, coach and aid children and families to develop specific skills or to help an individual child with behavioral, emotional or developmental needs. About 200 clients benefited from this program.Kindergarten Readiness matches parents with other parent partners to provide parenting education and help in accessing resources, networks, and supports for their children. This is a grass-roots, community-based effort to develop and support effective parenting in targeted communities in Greater Cincinnati. This initiative is based on intentional, strength-based, practical parenting. Community-based efforts focus on kindergarten readiness, effective parenting, and building self-sustainability. We served over 175 parents.Mediation and Consultation served nearly 200 people in conflict by improving coping skills, negotiation, and increasing self awareness. Services support resolving parenting or relationship issues and conflicts between families, parents and teens, divorcing parents, couples, step families, and others.Job and Family Services Parent Education Services primary goal is to build trusting relationships with parents. We assess the parent's needs and provide individual and group support to assist them in meeting their goals of keeping their children in the family home or reunifying with children removed from their care, serving about 450 families.Promoting School Success co-creates services individualized to each partnership school. We develop customized services to provide relevant prevention supportive services for the students, parents, families, teachers and administrators from each school site, serving approximately 2000.In addition to the service reimbursements, these programs are supported by grants and contributions of approximately $834,689. 571986 95127 NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:Natural Strength Parenting is a practical approach to parenting that combines intentionality and mindfulness with a focus on each person's individual innate strengths.Character Effect is a new program that combines the evidence-based positive science of mindfulness and character strength to transform a school. The flexible, developmental framework becomes a powerful force for aligning the adults in a student's life; parents, teachers, and administration. Parent Connext places Parenting Specialists onsite at Pediatric Care Practices, as an additional resource for pediatricians and parents. In this pilot program we served over 200 parents. New innovative services are being developed to engage proactive parents who simply want to be the best parents they can be. We are creating solutions, with a healthy balance of education and inspiration, that will expand our reach and impact enabling parents to have a sense of connection, community and relationships.
