In addition, Christ's Home supported two international children's ministries by providing grants to these organizations. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b A draft of the 990 is provided to the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees for review and approval for filing with the IRS. It is then forwarded to all members of the Board of Trustees for review. After the Board of Trustees review, the 990 is filed with the IRS. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c On an annual basis, each trustee and key employee must complete and sign a Conflict of Interest Statement. In addition, all are required to seek Board approval on an intervening basis for any potential related party transactions. In addition, the interested party is required to recluse him/herself from voting on any related party transactions. The budget is submitted to the Finance Committee of Board of Trustees and then to the Full Board for approval. Christ's Home engaged a consultant in researching and implementing pay grades and incentives for key employees. Also to support compensation, salary surveys, relevant to Christ's Home programs are reviewed. Specifically surveys provided by the consultant and those published by Leading Age of PA and PCCYFS (Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth and Family Services) are utilized to assess comparability by compensation for CEO and top management. This process is substantiated through contemporaneous minutes prepared for all committee and Board meetings.
