Furthermore, RNM is committed to addressing the need to remove conditions that lead to abject poverty, cycles of disease and ill health, especially among children and women thru sustainable development. Working with donor partners and volunteers, RNM focus on alleviating acute shortages of sanitary drinking water which significantly contribute low schooling, poor health & hygiene among the desperately poor. RNM also uses solar power, safe Water Access and Hygiene education as a tool for integral mission, thereby use the opportunity to share the love of Christ through its intentional gospel proclamation activities. A. Water Wells - Well drilling, WASH (Water And Sanitation Hygiene), Christian Witness/Church Mobilization: In 2017: 6 new deep wells were drilled in Nigeria and 6 shallow wells in Niger Galmi Region. RNM also assisted and funded 1 deep well in Niger Niamey Region, and sponsored the survey of 12 new well sites. RNM also did 2 Rehabs in Northern Nigeria and 4 additional water well Rehabilitations in the Southern part of Nigeria. C. During the year- we trained some 4200 (an ave. of 350 school kids and their families per month) in Hygiene promotion and education in schools, churches and communities. Further, we shared the good news of Christ at all the well sites dedications and commissioning ceremonies leading to over 750 professions of faith. Living Water International - providing about $50,000 for sponsored 6 new well projects and 2 Rehabs in Nigeria 2. The Lamplighter's Class of the Baptist Church of Marietta / Atlanta, GA providing support for the 1st 6 EROUFA wells in Q1-2017 at $40,407.78 (Jan 14, 2017); and the 2nd Phase for 6 wells in SABOUNGUIDA villages against 2018, but funded (Dec. 15, 2017) for $45,562.11 carried over into 2018 - all for Niger Republic Projects. 3. The 3rd major funding was received from the Giles Family Foundation partnership through the National Christian Foundation - 1st donation by 6/6/2017 of $25,000; and the 2nd funding or grant of $25,000 by end of year 12/22/2017 to help us complete projects, catch-up with equipment repairs and misc. needs / and provided general support for field teams capacity building, program strengthening, and general operations.
