The Outreach Program impacted 66,852 underrepresented (minority/female) students in areas of poverty (Title I) and rural areas, 1,088 parents and 1,014 teachers. SARSEF Fair Week was the culminating event for all SARSEF programs. 95,000 students conducted research requiring critical thinking to be selected for this competition where over $100,000 in scholarships, trips, and prizes were awarded. 73520 ISEF International Competition: The top seven SARSEF finalists from throughout Arizonas high schools, and the top three Eighth Graders were selected to attend the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair with their parents or teachers. A collaborative project between Raytheon, Desert View High School and SARSEF brought real-world female scientists and engineers together with 145 girls, Grades 9-12, who benefitted from a single-gender classroom environment to encourage future STEM leaders. 17568 ACES (Applied Career Exploration in Science) Camp.
