The collection was made possible from restricted donations. The work theme is utilized in various locations of the academic curriculum for students in engineering, business and nursing. Part V, Line 4: Endowments are used for whatever the donor intent is stated. Endowed scholarships for student financial assistance is approximately 70% of the total endowment. The remainder is donor designated for school programs or facility improvements, all with the intent of enhancing the schools educational mission. Part X, Line 2: Schedule D, Part X: The University addresses the determination of whether tax benefits claimed on a tax return should be recorded in the financial statements. Under current accounting guidance, the University may recognize the tax benefit from an uncertain tax position only if there is substantial authority that the tax position will be sustained on examination by taxing authorities, based on the technical merit of the position.
