("MHC") operates five Multi-Purpose Juvenile Homes providing services to youth involved in the juvenile justice system who are diverted to these homes to participate in a therapeutic environment focused on making positive behavioral changes. MHC operates two Transitional Living Homes with a focus on helping the youth learn independent living and vocational skills. Of those, 115 youth were served in traditional foster care, 64 were served in therapeutic foster care (children with specific and chronic mental health diagnoses), 42 were served in Rapid Response Crisis Stabilization (children in crisis who need emergency short-term care), and 20 were served in Juvenile Justice foster care (runaways, gang-affiliated teens, or other court-involved youth).
