Mr. Scott's work tells the story of the citizens of Louisiana. Scott's works frequently displayed themes related to African American life and particularly the rich Afro-Caribbean culture and music of Louisiana. Each piece tells a story of life in Louisiana as seen through Mr. Scott's eyes. The collection shows the history of Louisiana in the forms of painting and sculpture for all to see.
