Although this funding of salaries will not be in effect for some years, it does mark the beginning of a concentrated effort to raise the millions of dollars necessary to make this a reality. The purpose of maintaining the value of the fund is to allow for continued growth. The Endowment fund for teachers is established by the board for donations contributed to teacher endowment fund. The endowment fund for tuition scholarship was established many years ago by a family who wished to express their gratitude for the program as their child was about to enter kindergarten. The fund's sole purpose is to enable families to receive the child educational center's wide range of services when they otherwise wouldn't be able to attend the program.
