CCS' community outreach programs for the Deaf served 633 people with case management and life skills education, counseling and support services. 485 Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals received vocational services including on-the-job training and job supports/training. 2,750 Deaf and DeafBlind clients received 32,991 hours of interpreting. CCS helps meet immediate/fundamental needs, helps those in transition to become stable; and supports families as they achieve strong, secure and independent lives. Pio Decimo Center provided 2,225 families with food, clothing and household items; its volunteers and staff prepared over 6,800 tax returns for low-income families, resulting in over $10 million in tax refunds.
