EMPLOYMENT o YOUTH: 2,171 work experience hours provided to high risk youth; 27 youth placed in jobs; 11 obtain GED, vocational certificate or other education benchmark o ADULTS: § Returning citizens: 406 citizens returning from incarceration received barrier-removal assistance; 337 placed in subsidized employment and 185 placed in permanent unsubsidized employment averaging $17/hr § Disabled: 25 severely mentally ill individuals provided with employment assistance - 8 found employment, and 3 enrolled in school § Homeless: 40 individuals were provided 6-month temporary street cleaning jobs and 15 were placed in permanent unsubsidized employment averaging $15/hr.
