In partnership with the Georgia Department of Human Services, GCAPP operates a network of five Second Chance Homes. The Second Chance Home model is designed to address the myriad of issues related to teen pregnancy and literally give teen mothers, who are at greatest risk, a second chance at success. The Second Chance Homes Network helps teen mothers become self-sufficient by providing them a safe and stable living environment, educational support to complete high school, parenting skills, and life skills. WISE is currently working in Chatham, Clarke, Hall, Fulton, Floyd, Dougherty, Grady, Gwinnett and DeKalb counties. WISE is also district wide in the Atlanta Public School System. Power Moves! Plant, Grow, and Learn Garden Curriculum is designed to target the issue of childhood obesity in communities that are at great risk and in great need of these services. The program is successful at increasing fruit and vegetable consumption and developing student's skills in creating and harvesting a garden.Power Moves! also pilots a stand-up desk initiative to promote physical activity and classroom engagement. Power Moves! established several key partnerships including Communities in Schools of Atlanta, Kroger, Lowes, Home Depot, Publix, Garden Hills, William M.
