The curriculum is delivered through group and individual sessions. Powerful Choices was offered in three Seattle Public Schools middle schools, reaching 31 youth. In partnership with other community organizations such as Atlantic Street Center, Community for Youth, Children's Home Society, we served an additional 48 girls. 87192 Youth Employment Program - Provides girls with pre-employment, career building and job readiness skills. Three cohorts of girls participated in a group employment program that includes individual goal setting and performance evaluation session. The first cohort is Develop Your Voice and Speak (DYVAS), where young women are employed to produce an alternate form of media to educate the community about social justice issues. The second cohort is ActiveVistas, where young women are employed to develop and present workshops at the Girlvolution Conference. The third cohort is Job readiness focused on developing real-world skilld through activities such as career panels, resume assistance, mock interviews.
