Each application is reviewed by the committee to ensure it meets the guidelines for grants. The committee then ranks their top choices and the top total point recipients are nominated to be reviewed for possible grant recipients. Each committee member is then assigned a charity to do a site visit. After the site visits, the committee reconvenes and discusses their visit upon which another vote is conducted by the committee to determine the charities that will be recommended to receive the grants for the tournament. The charity nominations are then forwarded to the executive committee for approval. The determination of the bonus award shall be made as soon as practicable after the final tournament accounting. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The organization's accounting department compiles information for the completion of the Form 990 and forwards to an outside independent accountant for preparation and review. The outside independent accountant provides a draft to the organization which is reviewed by the treasurer of the executive committee and the president of the organization. A copy of the 990, as ultimately filed with the IRS, will be provided to each member of the governing body. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15a Compensation and bonus are reviewed by the Toledo Classic Executive committee. This process is performed annually in September of each year. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19 Governing documents and financial statements that are requested through the tournament office at 4405 Dorr St, Toledo, OH 43607, are reviewed by the President of Toledo Classic, Inc. A copy of the document requested will be mailed to the requesting party.
