Section E, Line 2a: Misericordia Family Association is an auxiliary group which supports Misericordia Home, a 501(c)(3) corporation. The activities of Misericordia Family Association directly further the exempt purposes of the supported organization. These activities include assisting the family members of Misericordia Home, providing volunteer resources to the organization, supporting direct care staff, and providing a communications link between administration and family members. The members of the supported organization gain automatic membership in the Association.
