We conducted 295 forensic interviews with suspected child abuse victims. We coordinated provided 36 forensic medical exams for sexual assault victims. 24 Child Protect cases resulted in criminal charges against suspected child abuse perpetrators with 12 indictments on child abuse charges during the year. 17 cases ended in criminal convictions. CP referred 183 child abuse survivors for therapy services, we provided trauma-based therapy services to 115 trauma survivors in 2018. We provided advocacy support to all 365 children during the year child abuse prevention programing to 2,976 Mercer County students. We also provided other education awareness training to 893 adults in our community during 2018. 59133 Child Protect oversees Mercer Countys Starting Points Family Resource Center which provides basic needs assistance to any family in need in Mercer County.
