In addition to our specialized medical and therapeutic staff, this program is also supported by over 250 volunteers who provide direct client support in the form of pet, music, and other comforting therapies as well as stand vigil so no one ever has to face death alone. Hospice care takes place in the home setting, in nursing homes, and at our very own Community Hospice House, a facility designed to replicate the home environment.For decades, Home Health & Hospice Care has been meeting the needs of those who are coping with the loss of a loved one. Our bereavement program is based on a simple yet powerful philosophy: that being able to talk about what one is feeling and finding compassionate support in that process can be a great source of solace and well-being. Programming is tailored to meet the needs of grieving adults and children. These services are available to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one.
