The Nebraska High School Theatre Academy is designed to support, celebrate and advocate for musical theater education in Nebraska high schools. In addition to Nationals, the program offers Master Classes led by Broadway teaching artists, adjudication of high school musicals, performance and audition experiences, tickets to touring Broadway shows, distance learning opportunities and more to 7,000 students across Nebraska annually. Other educational offerings include Student Rush Club, which offers deeply discounted tickets to students. The Student Matinee Series features daytime performances by artists from around the globe. These K-12 school shows are designed present school subjects in an impactful way - through theater, dance and music. Other community engagement offerings include Arts Access, which provides organizations serving at-risk and low-income populations with free tickets to select performances. Talkbacks offer conversations with artists about the creative process before or after select performances.
