Arts to deliver a STEAM Science & Dance program titled Science With a Twist to five classrooms in the Inglewood School District. Six classroom teachers and 150 students participated in the immersive twelve week program, receiving 90 minutes of science and 60 minutes of dance each week. The dance lessons were themed to support the concepts being learned during the science lessons. At the culmination of the program, students choreographed and performed dance routines that embodied the concepts they had learned in Science. A professional evaluation done of the program showed the students had high content retention and engagement. 17130 20000 During the 2017 2018 year PS Science offered its third year of the S-Team Rangers Summer Science Camp to 28 students in grades 4 and 5. The students attended the free two-week camp at Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica, CA . Bus transportation was provided to students who lived out of the Santa Monica area. Campers were engaged with engineering challenges and computer coding workshops.
