KCNA was a public charter school for neighborhood children. The school, closed during 2019, was an independent 501(c) (3) elementary school with the Kansas City Public Schools serving as sponsor. The school served pre- through fourth grade but was challenged by the fact that within the KCPS boundaries only 79% of seats are full. We were not able to attain adequate enrollment to maintain the school.
