The primary purpose for which this Corporation is organized is to glorify God by growing youth in character, confidence, and creativity in a Christ-centered community. B. It is the intent of the Corporation to exercise its statutory, regulatory, and constitutional rights to be a nonprofit religious, charitable, and educational organization exempt from the requirements of Washington's Law Against Discrimination, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and any other federal, state or local law pertaining to the discrimination of employees, independent contractors, volunteers, or others employed by or affiliated with the Corporation to the maximum extent permitted thereby. Section 2. General Purpose. In general, and subject to such limitations and conditions as are or may be prescribed by law, or in the Corporation's Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws, the Corporation shall have all powers now or hereafter are conferred by law upon a corporation organized for the purposes set forth above, or are necessary or incidental to the powers so conferred, or are conducive to the attainment of the Corporation's purposes, or as set forth in Chapter 24.03 of the Revised Code of Washington. ARTICLE V Limitations All of the purposes and powers of the Corporation shall be exercised exclusively for charitable, religious, and educational purposes in such manner that the Corporation shall qualify as an exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code") or any successor provisions, and that contributions to the Corporation shall be deductible under Section 170(c)(2) of the Code or any successor provision.
