Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a The Board of Directors of Telluride Hospital District, the supported organization, selects the Board of Directors for the Foundation. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 8b There are no committees that were able to act on behalf of the board, Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b The tax return will be reviewed for accuracy by the Financial Director of Telluride Hospital District and the Foundation Executive Director. A copy is provided to the governing board prior to filing with the IRS. Subsequently, wage surveys have been completed that substantiate this amount. The compensation is reviewed annually for budget purposes. The last formal review was conducted in 2016. Form 990, Part VII and Part IX, line 5 Officer Compensation The related organization, Telluride Hospital District (THD), compensates the Executive Director for her wages. On the consolidated audited financials the Foundation records this as donated in-kind services from THD, as well as records a salary expense. The Foundation physically reimburses only a small portion of the Executive Directors compensation, with the remaining being considered donated in-kind services. The in-kind services has not been captured in the Form 990 revenue or expenses.
