The council encourages PTAs within its membership to complete the Form 990 at least one month prior to the initial IRS imposed 990 deadline. The council then makes recommendations to the PTA upon completion of its review. The member PTA body discusses the council findings in a regular PTA board meeting. The Form 990 is approved, or edited for necessary changes, and then filed with the Internal Revenue Service. Governing documents etc available to public Part VI line 19 The organizations books, records, and Form 990 are available for inspection upon written or in-person request to the Charles Helmer Elementary School administration office. The Helmer administration office then forwards the request to principals of the PTA.
