The System engages an independent group to perform an executive compensation review and compensation survey every two years. This information is provided to the committee, which is made up of independent board members who are then responsible for setting the compensation packages offered to each executive ensuring that the compesation packages offered do not exceed fair market value. Part I Line 4b During 2019, Benjamin Gerber deferred 40,201 of compensation and Brandon Koehler deferred 20,309 of compensation through the CAA plan. Eric Radcliffe deferred compensation of 33,501 through the CAA plan and received vesting distributions of 24,545. John Forester deferred compensation of 35,702 and received vesting distributions of 65,855. Vesting distributions were paid by our third party administrator TPA. The TPA is responsible for issuing the appropriate tax documents. Form 990, Part VI, Line 11b Form 990 was prepared by the West Virginia United Health System Tax Team. After the return is prepared, the return is sent to the VP of Finance and VP - Provider Network Services for review, once it is approved it is provided to the board of directors for review.
