In 2018 the organization served over 300 children in Wayne County. In October 2018 we announced and advertised our program. We invited residents of Wayne County to sign up in they were in need of assistance. During sign up week, we assisted over 150 families in filling out a form which lists basic information about the family including a brief description of their needs. Once the list was compiled, we then assigned each family to a large group of volunteer shoppers. The shoppers had approximately three weeks to shop for the children on their lists. All gifts were returned and sorted out for distribution to the parent's on the first week of December. On distribution day families come to pick up their packages specifically purchased for their children.
