Community Information Trust solicits contributions for its projects from the greater Omaha community. Its incubator project, "Do Space" is a technology library, which serves the community at large by providing free access to the latest software, devices and ultra-fast internet. It provides programs and events to support the entire community "free of charge", thus there is no program service revenue. Community Information Trust participates annually in the Omaha Gives program and receives multiple individual gifts through this program. The development team does not limit the individual donors and foundations from which it solicits support. There are currently 44 proposals out to family foundations in the Omaha area, which provide the case for support and ask for operating support for Do Space. Management of the Organization anticipates that the base of donors will expand over the course of the next few years.
