Since opening to the public in 2013, thousands of visitors have come through our gates to take advantage of the peace, beauty and history the site affords and to learn about the two main families that made an impact on the site over the course of a century. In September of 2020, after being closed for a year, Greenwood reopened with significant renovations made to much of the property including the additions of a new rain garden, renovated Main Axis with working fountains, restored historic views, new plantings and landscaping, expanded parking, and increased seating throughout the garden.
