WAISN protects and advances the power of immigrant and refugee communities through a multiracial, multilingual, and multi-faith coalition of over 100 organizations. WAISNs organizing strategy educates and mobilizes statewide to uphold and defend the rights and dignity of immigrants and refugees, centering the voice of impacted communities. Created know-your-rights, Rapid Response curriculums, trained over 800 verifiers and built 20 rapid response community teams. Work with undocumented folks between the ages 14-28 and provide volunteer opportunities, fellowships, internships, and leadership roles for youth. The hotline averages 900 calls per month, including text messages in 5 languages. Hosted 100 youth at a statewide gathering. There are now 10 youth groups working for migrant justice.
