The completed 2020 calendar was posted online in December 2019 so that it could be accessible to anyone worldwide, spreading interest and excitement about human space exploration. 2)Humans in Space Youth Art Competition (www.HumansInSpaceArt.org) SciArt Exchange ran an international, multimedia Humans in Space Youth Art Competition for children aged 10-18 years old. The theme was What will people do on the Moon and why is it important. This theme was chosen to amplify the educational value of many events occurring in 2019 in honor of the 50 th anniversary of the first footstep on the Moon July 20 th . 800 entries from 36 countries were received in visual, literary, musical and film art categories. After assessing the winners, a kickoff tour event was held in Los Angeles in August to celebrate and award the winning top youth artists via cash and travel pirzes. The artwork has continued to tour throughout 2019 and into 2020, along with other past contest artwork, to engage listeners and viewers in learning about space, science and technology.
