<Desc>The pastors & missionaries of JARON, whether full-time, part-time or volunteer, minister first locally. As well, we disciple local leaders through cross-cultural service projects, in the Central Valley, nationally & through global short-term missions in order to help equip them to better serve the local community. We collaborate with churches, para-church ministries, first responder agencies, local businesses; & together serve poor neighborhoods & leaders without formal biblical education. JARON missionaries continue to serve locally through counseling, encouragement, biblically based materials, Faith Based films, & help for those in need.Program Accomplishments for 2018 2019This year JARON missionaries have served in Columbia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Czech Republic, Ghana, Haiti, India, Israel, Kenya, Mexico, Moldova, Nepal, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, & Zambia in a variety of ways, including teaching, counseling & evangelism, medical teams, well drilling. This year JARONs Missionaries continued to publish & translate in additional languages The Purity War, Anger: the Worm in My Apple, & Mastering the Scriptures. A new series of books for Chaplaincy training were developed for schools, jails & other needs. JARON helps Prison Fellowship Training & the Rescue Mission using TUMI, & helps prisoners reentry into the community. Pulpit supply was provided for several churches. Many conferences were taught, churches & pastors were mentored & counseled, locally & globally. Jr High & High Schoolers were taught at camps & Awana events. JARON missionaries helped put together & distribute Thanksgiving Baskets for people in need. We worked with local pastors, educators & lay leaders, implementing Christian community development in rural areas. An Israel Study Tour offered a powerful experience to understand the Bible, church history, & the God of the Bible, Jesus Christ. Pastor wives & other women were mentored & counseled, from the U.S., United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine & Serbia. In Haiti we ministered to pastors, care givers, orphans & children who have been rescued from slavery. We ministered in Kenya with Summit Faith International Ministries, working to establish sustainable medical care for underprivileged populations in Kenya. The teams return to these same rural villages annually & are establishing ongoing medical care in collaboration with local medical professionals. Also, in Kenya, Africa Hope Ministries has helped plant 28 Churches & started 8 Christian Schools with over 550 students since 2002. We provide hope & education to over 400 children who would have no hope for education otherwise. Our well drilling project continues. This not only brings clean drinking water to the Academy property, but also makes it possible to irrigate their new farm. The goal is for the farm to produce enough food for the school & market, leading to the goal of becoming self-sustaining. We will be drilling, building a water tower, & praying for the Lord's help & wisdom for many vital decisions affecting future ministries. Ever since the "Gospel Exploded" at the Saruni Village in 2017 when our missionary team showed the "Jesus Film" in Maasai, all of the other Maasai villages in the area have requested that "Africa Hope" will come to them in the same way it came to the Saruni Village. We visited eight Maasai Villages surrounding Amboseli National Park on the North slope of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which is just a few miles from our Africa Hope Center. Code3, an outreach to Law Enforcement & first responders worldwide, equipped Peace Officers for more effective leadership service. The Code3 team served at the National Police Memorial Week in Washington DC & Alexandria VA. & ministered to Law Enforcement leaders, police families, & families of fallen officers. They served at the memorial services & at the Memorial Wall, the Alexandria PD & the Survivor family hotels. They shuttled families of fallen officers from their hotel to the memorial wall, put on a BBQ for the Alexandria PD & the County Sheriffs office, served at the Candlelight Memorial service & the Memorial service on the capitol steps, handed out gospel tracts, cop bibles & shared the Gospel. Code3, led a weekly fellowship & accountability group. Without exception, the topic is relevant & timely & impacts each of our group member's lives. In turn, God's message is shared with each of our group member's influence groups. Each member of our fellowship & accountability group is involved in ministry outreach throughout the week. Our group is outwardly focused & therefore takes God's topic & multiplies it by sharing it with other influence groups. Code3 also served with the Alter Conference in the SaveMart Center, with about 5,000 attendees. The Alter conference works toward Kingdom advancement, coming together to in an effort to see the people of God in a region both inspired & equipped to walk out the Great Commission. Code3 served on the host leadership team for Derek Carr, providing VIP protection for the keynote speakers & their families. We were honored to be in the midst of this ministry where God giving to pour into the lives of leaders. REEL Ministries coordinates with studios, producers & actors to promote faith based films & events. The events & movies, each hosted in multiple cities this year were: Overcomer, Gosnell, I Still Believe, Breakthrough, The Amendment, Faith Hope & Love, Best of Enemies, Run the Race, Unplanned, The Least of These. We minister to outlaw motorcycle gang members & families, with a special emphasis toward their children. JARON participated in a Sex Trafficking awareness conference in Cordova, South Carolina. Local pastors, police, & about 15 churches attended.
