THINK PINK On October 22, 2024, PBC FAWL in partnership with the North County Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association hosted a joint fundraising event for breast cancer awareness, donating all funds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. HOLIDAY COOKIE EXCHANGE On December 10, 2024, PBC FAWL held its annual cookie exchange mentoring event with the participation of past presidents, judges, and young members. PACE HOLIDAY PARTY On December 20, 2024, the Chapter hosted a luncheon for the PACE School for Girls wherein the chapter served lunch and provided holiday gifts to the girls. This is a project that promotes success for young ladies struggling in the education system and their personal lives and provides a safe environment to complete their grade-school education. JUSTICE PARIENTE JUDICIAL RECEPTION On February 19, 2025, we hosted the Justice Pariente Judicial Reception, which is one of our signature events. This annual event honors and awards certain lawyers in the community who have gone above and beyond to support others and advance the profession of law. Approximately 200 people were in attendance. ICE CREAM SOCIAL AND AWARD CEREMONY On March 12, 2025, PBC FAWL partnered with nine other voluntary bar associations and the Legal Aid Society to host the annual pro bono celebration honoring exemplary attorneys who have earned a pro bono pin for their pro bono service that year. JUDICIAL APPRECIATION LUNCHEON On May 7, 2025, we hosted our annual luncheon to honor the 15th Circuit Judicial Assistants and Courthouse Deputies. TAKE YOUR CHILD TO WORK DAY On April 24, 2025, the Chapters Working Parents Committee hosted an all-day event at the Main Courthouse. The event included presentations by the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office, Judicial Personnel, and a Mock Trial. This event promotes awareness of the judicial system and all facets for children of Courthouse Staff, State Attorneys, and Public Defenders. INSTALLATION LUNCHEON On June 12, 2025, PBC FAWL held its annual leadership transition luncheon to welcome the new Board of Directors and Committee Chairs. This was a large luncheon event focused on celebrating the past year accomplishments and setting expectations for the fiscal year ahead. NATIONAL ADOPTION DAY On November 8, 2024, our Chapter Working sponsored and participated in an all-day event at the Main Courthouse celebrating National Adoption Day. The event included luncheon, presentation by the judges of the 15th judicial circuit, and formal adoption proceedings for various families. THE STATE OF THE BAR LUNCHEON On January 31, 2025, we hosted a luncheon where The Florida Bar President, Roland Sanchez-Medina, was the keynote speaker. This event focused on the state of The Florida Bar, their initiatives, and progress made in the last year.
