Part I, line 3: Foreign partners that receive funding from Edify for training activities and loans to schools are required to submit an accounting of expenses on a monthly or quarterly basis. For specific training events, the budget is approved in advance with a final reconciliation of actual to budgeted expenses upon completion. All travel expenses of Edify staff and agents overseas are accounted for with expense reports and supporting documentation. The accrual method of accounting is used for all transactions.
