Objectives achieved: Students were motivated to excel in their Grades, Attendance and Maturity to Empower them to be leaders. Ninety-five percent of the participants graduate from high school and enter post-high school education programs (college or technical school). In 2016, Elevate Your G.A.M.E. added a Mentoring Through Music Project to this overall Mentoring Program. Through the Mentoring Through Music Project, urban youth at its program sites and outside of the program sites were mentored by using uniquely created music to engage urban youth in mentoring conversations on specific topics. 40887 0 40887 Summer Internship Program: Provided internships for 35 urban teenagers from Compton and Long Beach. Interns worked at job sites for 3 weeks and received eight hours of job training. Objectives achieved: Students were exposed to various careers and taught work ethnic and professionalism.
